This online painting course for absolute beginners offers a really relaxing and non-intimidating way of getting started with painting – in the comfort of your own home
On this introductory online painting course you will be exploring your creative side and surprising yourself with what you are able to create when you have a go at painting. You will have fun in the process, will discover how nice it is to make time to take time out to paint, and find out how incredibly relaxing painting can be.
You will come away from the online painting course feeling inspired and accomplished, having caught the painting bug, and planning what to paint next!
The course starts off by focusing on experimenting and exploring lots of different ways of applying acrylic paint – including printing, using pallet knives and paint brushes, and painted collage. This approach is all about having a play, being curious, encouraging creative expression and discovering how paint works, and on this part of the course you will produce a whole range of different samples and finished pieces.
Then you will build up to painting up to 4 final artworks of your choice – which could be absolutely anything from landscapes, animals, flowers or people. Your artwork will be unique and you will find that all the students on this course will be producing completely different things!
How long is the online painting course and how does it work?
The course can be done in as little as 6 weeks (if you did painting once a week), but you have up to 6 months to complete this course. It is worth noting that you will get out of this course as much as you put into it – the more time you can create for painting, the more you will learn.
What support is provided?
This course has an online membership area for all students, which includes an online forum where you can share your paintings for both feedback and support from me. This forum, and the course gallery, will also give you inspiration and motivation by seeing what others in the group have been painting.
