Team Away Days

Are you looking for something different to do with your team for your next away day?

Why not consider a fun and creative experience which you can all get stuck into?

Not just a painting session

My team sessions incorporate a really fun approach to making art, with helping teams to get to know each other better, and to be the best that they can be.  Art is a great way of encouraging creative thinking, and these sessions are great if you would like to come away with something tangible such as a team vision, a project plan or a way to tackle a period of change at work.

You will all come away with individual artwork, as well as artwork you have created together as a team, which you can use for future reflection following on from the session too.

Not just an art teacher

With a background in staff development, I combine my coaching and facilitation skills with my work as an art teacher to create a really unique team away day experience.

Each session is fully tailored to your needs as a team, and I will spend time with you looking at this in more detail and designing a session that will work best for you and meet your objectives.

Practical considerations

These sessions are very much aimed at people with very little or no experience of art – so no previous experience is necessary.

I provide 1/2 day team building sessions for up to 6 people in my studio in Oxford (or larger groups at an external venue).

What people have to say about my team sessions….

“The session was extremely effective and met the initial brief really well.  Jane’s very subtle skills in drawing people out, and the effects of the creative process itself, gave everyone insights into ways of working and helped us to move towards a shared vision.  The way Jane moved us through individual art, contributing to others’ work, and creating something collectively was very powerful.  Extremely well structured and skillfully facilitated.”  Jane Dale, Oxford University

“Working in a demanding part of the charity sector, it is not often that our team take time out to focus on us and how we work together. However, spending an afternoon with Jane has really helped us to spend quality time being creative, taking a break and improving our communication. We have been able to explore our uncertain future in a proactive, positive and constructive way. Jane was excellent at guiding us and helping is explore our concerns whilst remaining focused on tangible and workable solutions in order for us to move forward and achieve our ambitious goals.” Sarah Hughes, Mayday Trust
