These relaxed and supportive art groups are a space to come together and create art. In these groups I very much encourage you to explore where you would like to take your art – supporting you to try new mediums and subject matter at your own pace and in your own way. As a result everyone in the group will be working on very different things, which provides an interesting mixing pot of inspiration and ideas.
These groups are held in my studio, with all art materials provided (apart from my Thursday evening group which is run virtually).
And as well as a weekly art session, you will also have regular tutorials with me to talk about your art and have some focused 1-2-1 support.
Who are these groups for?
These groups are for you if you currently make art, but find that it would help you to have a dedicated time and space to do this on a weekly basis. As well as if you would love to build on your painting and drawing skills, and creative confidence.
When do these groups run?
Tuesday Morning Art Group – 10-11.30am
Thursday Evening Virtual Art Group – 7-8.30pm
The classes are paid for on a monthly basis, and you can cancel at any point – so you don’t have to sign up for / commit to a certain period of time (minimum time is for 1 month). Membership is £95 per month.
What others have to say about these groups ….
“Jane’s art group gives you the chance to experiment and try new things! It has helped to build my confidence, knowing that I can ask for advice when needed. It has proven to also be a warm and social environment to be arty in! I leave every session feeling like I’ve achieved something, and had the opportunity to relax and be creative.” Sophie Peet
“I’ve loved the space to experiment with painting without judgement. Here, there are no rules so you really can just try things out and see what works for you – I’ve been trying some new techniques and developing my own style so my confidence is building. Also I love having some specific space in my diary each week to spend time painting! Finally, it’s been really inspiring seeing all the different approaches and ideas the others have come.” Sarah Wyatt
“I loved coming to this art group! It was great to come along and have that space where you could create, design, draw, express, try new things and be artistic, with the amazing help of Jane supporting what was happening.” Bella Pratt
